There are many ideas floating around about how the current economic mess can be put to rest. One that is not discussed nearly enough is how entrepreneurship may be the best solution to the problem. Believe it or not, the entrepreneurial spirit has a lot to do with a thriving economy, and this is something that should be strongly considered at the present time.

Here are five reasons why entrepreneur is the solution, or at least a start, to the current economic mess:

1. Entrepreneurs will spend money. When you start a company you are going to spend money; there is no way around this. And as you know, when money is spent it helps the economy. The United States should be doing more to promote new businesses

2. More jobs. One of the biggest issues right now is the lack of jobs and an ever growing unemployment rate. If more and more entrepreneurs start new businesses it only makes sense that additional jobs are going to become available; and as these companies grow so will the number of available positions.

3. Entrepreneurs grow ideas which in turn grow over the long haul. What would the world be without new products and services hitting the marketplace? Every entrepreneur has a great idea inside of him or her. And many of them will change the future for the better.

4. New businesses fuel related industries. Take General Motors for example. One of the main issues that would come into play if they go under is that suppliers would lose a huge portion of their business. Every business, no matter the industry, offers the ability to work with other companies that align with their goals.

5. Big ideas that change the world and the way we live are not born in cubicles, or by holding back those with an entrepreneurial spirit. It is important for everybody to realize that entrepreneurs are the ones behind the big ideas that better the world, the economy, etc.

Would entrepreneurship be able to fix every issue within the economy? Of course not. But there is no denying that entrepreneurship can address many of the problems while playing a huge role in getting the economy back on the right track.
