What is most important to you? Money or time? Believe it or not, more people than ever before are interested in time freedom. In other words, they would rather have the time to do what they want than to make tons of money. Sure, they still want to earn a nice living but at the same time they do not want to give up the rest of their life in order to do so. This is not always an easy goal to achieve because most people believe that it is impossible to shorten their hours but still earn enough money to get by.
Look at it this way: everybody has 24 hours per day to do whatever they want. This holds true for you as well as billionaires like Warren Buffet and Bill Gates. In order to create more time in your life for activities outside of work, you need to condition your mind to realize that you can earn enough money without killing yourself at the office.
Gone are the days when you only get paid if you are working. In today’s day and age there are more ways than ever before to leverage yourself. Like Tim Ferris teaches in his best selling book, The Four Hour Workweek, you can more or less outsource your entire life and more importantly, create a dream team you want to partner up with… This allows you to free up much more time for what you actually enjoy doing.
There used to be a time when being busy was the “cool thing to do.” The majority of people were always on their cell phone or typing away on their Blackberry. These days are over as more and more people have realized that always being busy is no longer the way to best live their life.
so, are you in business or busyness?
